Cape Town - The second annual Light The Fire biking lifestyle festival comes to Durban again this year, bringing with it the best entertainment, stunts and motorcycle exhibitions to the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast from 30 April to 1 May 2016.

Sponsored by the KwaZulu Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs in association with Nkosi N Projects and Integrated Concepts, Light The Fire brings biking clubs and motor enthusiasts from all corners to the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast during this biking weekend.

Those attending the 2016 Light The Fire event can look forward to novice and advanced riding demonstrations at Dezzi Raceway, shootouts and racing shows by professional riders, Freestyle Moto-X extreme bike stunts including back-flips as well as drifting, wheelies and stunts by top bikers including Yamaha brand ambassador – Alfred “King Donut” Matamela and Brian Capper – 10 times Supermoto Champion and South Africa’s most diverse biker.
On top of this, attendees will be treated to a Strongman Challenge show, Wet slide, Foam pit, Mechanical Bull competition and visit the Club Village where motorcycle clubs can interact and showcase their machines.
Children will be entertained in the Kids Action Zone including ferris wheel, racing simulators, quad biking, jumping castles, fun rides, face painting and many more exciting games.
An important part of the Light The Fire is giving back to the local community. To this end, bikers are encouraged in lieu of purchasing Saturday’s entrance ticket to donate R100 towards Gamalakhe Community Development Foundation to help the impoverished community in Gamalakhe with school uniform, shoes, tertiary fees and business opportunities.
