Last year Enzokuhle, which literally translates from isiZulu as "do good", remained the single most popular name for both boys and girls in South Africa, Statistics South Africa reported this week based on data drawn from the department of home affairsNational Population Register (NPR).

But that name topped the provincial lists in only two regions, KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape, and featured in the top 10 of only one other province, the Western Cape.

Other provinces featured names such as Blessing and Liam as their most popular, while Junior was a popular first name in Mpumalanga and the Northern Cape.
