Well designed wine-labels are key for a winemaker to succeed, believes Margot Janse, one of the judges at this year’s wine label design awards.

Wines were judged in four categories: R80 a bottle or under; over R80 a bottle; R500 a bottle and over; and labels forming a series.
Eleven wines received a silver rating, and only four gold.
