A South African model claims convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein repeatedly raped her on his island in US Virgin Islands, and asked for nude photos weeks before he was arrested, the Daily Mail reported.
Epstein died in his Manhattan jail cell awaiting trial in August on charges of sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy, Business Insider reported.
Prosecutors alleged that the financier abused dozens of girls as young as 14 over a period of years. He was previously convicted of soliciting sex from a minor.
According to court papers filed at the Manhattan Federal Court in New York, a South African model said she met Epstein in 2002, the Daily Mail reported.
The New York Post reported that the model said at the time she was an aspiring 20-year-old model who believed could help her with her modelling career.

Epstein visited Africa alongside former United States (US) President Bill Clinton, actor Kevin Spacey, and actor-comedian Chris Tucker in 2002.
After meeting Epstein at a restaurant in Cape Town, the model said Epstein told her he knew Lex Wexner, the owner of Victoria’s Secret, personally, The Daily Mail reported.
Soon thereafter the model flew to New York, and she was then flown on Epstein’s plane to the US Virgin Islands, where Epstein owned his own island. She alleges that Epstein repeatedly raped her there, the Mirror reported.
During trips to Epstein’s various homes in Paris, New Mexico, New York City, and the Virgin Islands, the model said she was forced to pose for nude photographs, taken by an assistant of Epstein.
The Daily Mail reported that in Paris, she said was forced to stay with Ghislaine Maxwell, who is accused of having recruited Epstein’s sex slaves.
After returning to South Africa, the model said Epstein kept emailing he asking her to send him nude photographs, The New York Post reported.
In June, she claims she received her last email from Epstein, a month before he was arrested for sex trafficking.
The lawsuit is the eighth filed against Epstein’s $577 million (roughly R8.5 billion) estate by his alleged victims.
