A man drove his car into a crowd of protesters in Seattle and shot someone during a demonstration Sunday evening.

The Seattle Police Department confirmed on Twitter that they took to the suspect into custody. The city's fire department said in a tweet that it transported a gunshot victim to the hospital.

The 27-year-old male victim is in stable condition, the fire department said.
