Cheetah Plains, a private game reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga, is currently constructing three designer bush villas that will be more than a little luxurious.
Here's what they will look like:
The villas were designed to blend in the natural surroundings, according to sales and online manager Justin Glanvilll .
A calm and distilled palette was chosen, using natural materials, for a simple, minimalist design carried out both in and outside.
Each villa will have two lounges, an outdoor boma, wine cellar, and heated pools.
There are also four luxurious private suites in each house with private decks, dressing rooms, loungers, double rain showers, and baths overlooking the bushveld.
Interior design studio ARRCC is tasked to put together the bespoke, luxury interiors.
Each villa will have a designated professional field guide (including private game drive vehicle for each house), a designated professional field tracker, a private spa therapist, a private chef, a butler, a housekeeper, and a groundsman.
"We want to change people's perceptions and expectations for their luxury safari holiday ... the entire safari and holiday experience is customised to the guests' individual wishes," says Glanvill.
The bush houses should be completed towards the end of the year, with rates starting at R90,790 per night for four guests, and then an extra R15,135 for additional adult guests.
