Most OrderIn orders in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg over the past year went to Nando’s, the food delivery service has revealed.
The Portuguese-inspired chicken restaurant was not only the most ordered from, its chicken strips and spicy rice was also one of the most ordered meals nationwide.
OrderIn is South Africa’s third-largest food delivery service, with a network of over 1,200 restaurants across the country.

Rebecca Steyn, OrderIn’s marketing coordinator, gave Business Insider South Africa a list of its most ordered from restaurants over the past year.
Steyn said the most ordered from restaurants in Johannesburg were:

- Krunch
- JB’s Corner
- Steers
- The Big Mouth
- Andiccio24
- Ocean Basket
- Anat
In Cape Town, the most ordered from restaurants were:
- Nando’s
- Mariam’s Kitchen
- Simply Asia
- Bar Keeper Liquor Store
- Steers
- RocoMamas
- Nuri Sushi
- Col’Cacchio
- Monks
- The Poke Co
- Joburg
The most ordered from restaurants in Durban were:
- Nando’s
- RocoMamas
- Silverani’s Broadway
- Caffe Java
- Spur
- Sun Sun Chinese Restaurant and Takeaway
- Deep Blue Fish Co.
- Bombay Blu
- The Lookout
- El Toro Tapas and Tequila
Steyn also said Nando’s Chicken strips and spicy rice was the most ordered meal in Johannesburg and Durban.
In Cape Town, Simply Asia's chicken roast chilli paste and cashewnut noodles was the most ordered meal over the past year - Nando’s chicken strips and spicy rice came in at number three.
